The Nike Alphafly 3 is the successor in the line known for breaking marathon records. It features Nike's ZoomX foam, which is incredibly light and provides maximum energy return. This is one of the few shoes that comes in a unisex sizing. For a women’s size we recommend going 1.5 sizes down from your typical size. (Example: W 9 = U 7.5)

The ASICS Metaspeed Sky Paris is designed to maximize efficiency for runners who primarily increase their stride length when speeding up. Compared to the Metaspeed Edge Paris, the forefoot has slightly more foam below the plate so your foot is closer to the plate. This gives a slightly more stable feel under the forefoot and not quite as soft. Keep in mind it is the same total amount of foam simply the ratio above and below the plate is different.

In contrast, the ASICS Metaspeed Edge Paris is optimized for runners who tend to increase their cadence when accelerating. There is a more significant dip in the shape of the plate in the forefoot. You can expect a slightly softer forefoot with the Edge due to more foam directly underfoot above the plate.
